So what’s the purpose of johncruz.net?  This will be a more relaxed site where I can talk about pretty much anything.  So many times I’ve thought to myself, “I should blog that,” but haven’t, because I know that readers of the above sites would be wondering, “what does this have anything to do with photography?”  And rightfully so!  I’d find that confusing too.  So, when you come visit here, you’ll get a glimpse of what’s on my mind, and what I’m up to!

If you’ve been to this site before, you’ll notice that it’s quite a bit different!  Change is good!  I’ve moved to a content management system that many of you will probably recognize as WordPress.  I love this thing!  It makes customizing, administering, and posting to this (and Te Amo Photography’s) site so easy — much easier than what I had previously done, which was developing everything on Notepad — yes, the text editor.  Why I did that when I knew that there were better alternatives, I have no idea.  Oh well, at least it kept my web development skills current!
